10 Years These guys were "nobody" when I first saw them, and now they're getting bigger and better...I love it when that happens. Go see them when they come to town.

Hail The Villain I haven't seen these guys live yet, but they are coming in August...I can't wait. They sound sick and they look fun.

Sevendust My favorite band, hands down. I've had a chance to briefly meet these guys after a few shows in town and they are way laid back. I think my 7D concert total is approaching 15...which is easy when they tour as often as they do. I've gotten 7 or 8 people hooked on these guys by simply bringing them to a show. Great stuff.

Breaking Benjamin Another one of my favorite bands. I first saw these guys at The Quest (now closed) on tour with Saliva. I bought their CD that day and now they are getting big time...they put on a good show too, which is huge to me. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out.

Saliva A very underrated band. They get a bad rap due to their name, but these guys are from Tennessee and have some serious southern hospitality. I got a chance to meet them the first time I went to their concert, and they were not "rock star snobby" at all. Asked me where i went to school, etc etc. Check these guys out...the tour a lot. I think I've seen 12 or so shows of theirs...fun every time.

30 Seconds to Mars After a short hiatus, these guys are back...and yes, the lead singer is the bad guy from The Panic Room. He can f'ing sing...no question.

Red I feel like these guys came out of no where. The first time I saw them, I'm pretty sure they were setting up their own stuff on stage at the Myth (greatest venue ever). They were shaking hands with people after the show while Sevendust played and were super nice. They got in a pretty serious bus accident I think, but they're back at it and on disc #2. Check them out when you can.

Lo Pro These guys were on the verge of making it big...but then they went away. They are back on the smaller scene now down south I think. I would check them out anyway...their lead singer can belt some major tunes.

Foo Fighters If you like LIVE music and rock music...you like the Foo Fighters. Don't knock them until you've seen them live. Seriously.

Avenged Sevenfold These guys have transitioned in to a heavy rock band...and it's awesome. A little Guns n Roses mixed with Metallica mixed with Pantera. Vocals are great, and their 2nd album was one of the best guitar albums...ever. Rolling Stone said so themselves. Their drummer recently died, but they are back on tour now and they are worth the $$...you won't be disappointed.

Coheed and Cambria A concept band with a cult following. It'd take forever to explain that, so visit their website and then YouTube them...and tell me that the lead singers voice was what you expected to hear...because it's not. They will melt your face off.

Three Days Grace These guys are growing on me. I first saw them when they weren't big, but then I worried they'd sell out. They haven't...because their shows still dominate. Yeah, they might get some play now on KDWB and Cities97...but that's because everyone wants to be a rock star. They just do.

Cavo These guys are trying to come out of no where. I checked them out randomly and their CD is money. Not as heavy as the rest of these bands, but very good sound and vocals. I saw them live...not too bad! Check them out

Atreyu Here's a rock/metal/punk band that you'll love...and their drummer sings as well and hit some ridiculous notes. Another fun show, worth checking out.

Papa Roach These guys busted on to the scene my freshman year of college and it was great. Then their second CD kind of declined, but since then...they have come back strong. They steal the show every time I see them, regardless of who they tour with.

Sick Puppies They're starting to get big. But they have TONS of potential. For a 3 piece band, you'll be pleasantly surprised. They are fun to watch.

Daughtry Even though he was on American Idol, you have to give him props to staying true to his roots for music. Shinedown helped him out some with his first record, but this dude can sing...well. I don't care if you think I lose my man card for this guy, he's got some freakin' talent.
